paradise island, bahamas
AMAZING is an understatement.
This trip brought so much joy, excitement, suspense, and most of all fun to my life. I 10/10 recommend traveling to Nassau & visiting Atlantis. Keep in mind though that Atlantis is not an all inclusive resort so save save save.
The resort, the food, the people. Its all amazing. Everyone is so kind and you truly have to much to do that it is all worth it. My family & I were there for 8 days total and I wish I could have stayed longer. We were told we were there on their off season which made everything even better because it wasn’t as crowded and the weather was perfect.
we spend a day traveling on a boat with a company called Pieces of 8 tours that took us to many island which included feeding wild iguanas, swimming with sharks, swimming with pigs, and a buffet lunch at an island!
Now, feeing the iguanas was honestly scary but fun haha. We were given grapes to feed them but you could only feed one at a time because they could get a little territorial over their food. Other than that, it was amazing to see them interact with us.
Ever dream of swimming with pigs? nope. neither did I but wow was it memorable. These pigs were HUGE, a little scary, but so much fun. There was a female pig named John that you couldn’t turn your back to or she’d bite your left butt cheek (can’t even type that without laughing)! No, my butt was not bit because you bet I was on guard.
I have always wanted to swim with sharks though. We swam with nurse sharks so don’t worry, they don’t bite. Nurse sharks so not have teeth and are very fond of humans!
If you ever have the opportunity to go on this adventure, take it! you will not be disappointed!
just a photo dump of how we spent out other days that is much needed
