wedding wednesday: How to decide who to invite to your wedding?
As I continue to plan our wedding, I want to share with you all the things we are doing or helpful tips to think about!
Trust me, if we could have 300 people at our wedding we would, but in reality… that’s not happening. It’s so dang expensive to have a wedding & limiting the guest list can really change that cost. Nobody really tells you the struggle of knowing who to invite. So, how do you and your partner come up with the perfect guest list for your perfect day?

How long have you known this person?
Would you want to be invited to their wedding? If you weren’t, would you feel sad?
Have you talked to this person within the last 6-8 months?
Does this person know both you and your partner?
Has this person spent time & laughs in your relationship?
If you went to dinner with this person, would you be okay with paying the bill?
Can you imagine your wedding day without them?
Are they just work friends or would you hangout with them outside of your 8-5?
Where does the light get drawn with extended family?
Do you see yourself having a relationship with this person years after the wedding?
It’s your and your partner’s day. Don’t feel the pressure of feeling like inviting someone because you “have to.” Everyone at the end of the day will hopefully understand that you are making your wedding day special for YOU.
