self help books I want to read

Is it just me being 23 and being a year out of college, that I am in some kind of funk? I think back to high school when teachers would ask, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” I’m honestly in a place where I didn’t even think I would be and I’m so grateful for that.

But sometimes I can’t help but think, “could I be doing more,” “should I have more money than this?” “Am i just overthinking too much?”

We are programmed in todays society to always want something better than what we have. It’s always about thinking ahead and planning for the future but what happened to the present? Putting yourself first & making sure you are taken care of in your everyday present life.

I want to start doing that. Not only having the present be a priority, but also prioritizing myself.

here is the list of books I want to read:

  • The slight Edge by Jeff Olson

  • The Anti- Anxiety Diet by Ali Miller

  • 101 essays that will change the way you think by Brianna West

  • Successful women think differently by Valorie Burton

  • Atomic Habits by James Clear

  • The subtle art of not giving a f*** by Mark Manson

  • The happiness advantage by Shawn Anchor

  • 12 rules of life by Jordan Peterson
