MAKE YOUR NEXT YEARS RESOLUTIONS REALISTIC

Its that time of year when we criticize ourselves for what we did in 2023, and how we are going to change ourselves. We tend to make resolutions for the new year that are hard to achieve because they are completely changing our lives. How about some realistic resolutions? mine are listed below

  • Focus on certain things, not fixing

  • Start from where you are at

    don’t start with an aggressive goal, reflect on yourself and how you could ease yourself into a specific thing

  • Scheduling out time

    a certain time outside everyday to soak up the sun and get some fresh air

    if you are wanting to start your reading journey, start yourself out slow with 15 minutes before bed and add from there

  • Take Classes

    Getting back into the gym is hard, especially when you make an unrealistic resolution of going to the gym every day, and then getting upset with yourself when life gets in the way

    book some classes that are on a consistent basis!

MY RESOLUTIONS!

  1. Create a morning/night routine

  2. Getting at least 6-7 hours of sleep

  3. Stand at my desk throughout the day

  4. Maintain and create stronger bonds with my friends/family

  5. Listen to more podcasts

  6. Drink 30 ounces of water in the morning before my coffee

  7. Being more present with myself & my partner

  8. Once a month, pick a new spot in my house to declutter and donate items

  9. Lessen my soda intake

  10. Have more nights with my friends

  11. Workout to feel good, not to look thinner

  12. Go to a new place every month, this could be a coffee shop, restaurant, activity, etc

  13. Increase my % going into my savings
