RANDOM THINGS IM GRATEFUL FOR
When was the last time you sat down & really thought about everything in your life? the good, the bad, the ugly, the fun, the changes, etc.
In times when you feel like you have nothing or your world is slowly all fusing together into one long day take out a notebook. Write down 10 things you are grateful for. It can be as little as your fuzzy blanket or as a big as a friendship.
We need to start recognizing the little things in our day-to-day life, rather than complain about the things we don’t have much control over.
If you’re having a hard time finding things for your list, here are mine:
The sun blaring into my car on my drive to work.
Now that its getting darker earlier, the morning sun rise makes my mornings feel much different than before
Pumpkin anything
the warmth that a pumpkin spice anything can bring to a candle, drink, or dish is game changing. There’s nothing that screams more fall than pumpkin to me
Warm baths
Nothing is more relaxing to me after a long day than a warm bath with a candle and dimmed lights. It clears the mind and relaxes everything
Podcasts
As a person who listens to music frequently, I LOVE a good podcast. This breaks up my routine drives and makes me think harder about all things
Friends/Family
In the hectic months, my closest people are who I turn to to make it through.
The cold side of the pillow
warm sheets and a cold pillow? a nightly dream of mine
The cold breeze
I am a girl who loves the changing seasons
Traveling
I felt like I went all over the place this year & I am so grateful and appreciative of every place I went and what I experienced
When it rains at night
The calmness that my house turns into, the sound of the rain as it hits my roof… its comforting
Hair masks
The softness & hydrating I can feel in my hair after one of these bring me an insane amount of joy for some reason
Anything catch your eye that made you think more about what you are grateful for? Take some time during this holiday season to take a deeper dive into your life and find the little and big things that stop you in your tracks.
With love,
